Sandyford is the closest suburb to Newcastle city centre and is extremely popular with both student and professional tenants as there is no need to use public transport. It has its own shopping area and is establishing itself as a good place to go and eat out. Due to its location it is easy for students to socialise in either the city centre, Jesmond or the new venues of Mr Lynch and As You Like It. For public transport there is the Coast Road bus route and Jesmond Metro station. | |
